?Syncing Calendar aborts with error - contact sync works fine. Why?

Try disabling the date range limiting option ("Date Range Limits" in iOS - "only from x days before and y days after today" in Windows Mobile/PalmOS) in the settings for calendar events.

This option requires support for date range filtering at the server's end - which is not available in all SyncML servers!
Depending on the server type, you'll get "database not found", simply "DB error" or sometimes even "invalid data from server" error messages if the option is turned on.
